Making the decision

So at the end of our week and traveling to and fro along the length of the Pyrénées, we were lucky enough to find the property that was everything we were hoping for; great location – good for cycling, rolling ‘Cotswold-ish” hills in one direction and incredible mountain climbs in the other direction, near both downhill and cross country ski stations.

Rural, but within walking distance of the lovely village of Lanne-en-Barétous for boulangerie, restaurants and school for the boys. Lots of varied local attractions, plus our own swimming pool.

We thought it would be a dream come true to live here and bring the boys up in the fresh mountain air.
